Office 2010 Professional Licencing Help Please - UK Business Forums

There are a few different options when it comes to Microsoft licensing.

In essence there are 3 different ways to buy Microsoft Office:

  • Product Key Card (PKC) - For activating office on a new PC
  • Full Packaged Product (FPP) - The boxed retail products
  • Volume Licensing - Designed for companies with 5 PCs +
If you already have the machines and they are not recent purchases, FPP or Volume licensing will be your two options.

To be honest, volume licensing tends to be sold more on the advantages than price (i.e one product key for all your machines, can install on TS, spreading payments or subscribing with Open Value).

If price is the only factor you will usually find FPP or the electronic download versions will be cheaper. However you may get more value from volume licensing, especially if spreading payments is an option.

As with Steve, we can provide most options which I'd be more than happy to send you pricing for. However you may find some useful information and prices on our purchasing site in my signature.

I hope this help.
Thanks

Leo
