GOVERNMENT'S COMMUNICATIONS TEAM TO STAY AWAY ...

Posted about 5 hours ago |

A member of the NDC communication?s team, Felix Amegashie says that the government?s communications team will refrain from making unhealthy utterances that may bring about confusion and instability in the country. His comments come after the president?s directive that the government?s communications machinery must be circumspect in their speeches and desist from using indecent languages when addressing the media and any other platform they find themselves. Mr. Amegashie was speaking this morning on the ultimate starter here on Pravda radio. ?my colleagues from the communications team are very civil people, they are gentlemen and ladies who really understand their calling and the work that they are doing so I believe that my fellow members of the government?s communications team will equally go by the admonishing of his excellency John Dramani Mahama and ensure that we clean our airwaves of this whole politics of personality attacks and insults because they do not help in building our democracy? he said. Meanwhile Mr. Amegashie is downplaying rumours that President Mahama is set to sack the Director of the communications at the presidency, Koku Anyindohu and the Director of Operations at the castle, Nii Lantey Vanderpuije. According to him, president Mahama has called onto all members of the government?s machinery to support him continue the ?Better Ghana Agenda?. He stressed the fact that, both Koku Anyindohu and Nii Lantey Vanderpuije are still working as active members of the government communications machinery.
